TBD, but potentially Evolution (Montreal, July 2024)
Join the lab at Adelphi!
My lab is currently full, however, please get in touch if you are interested in conducting research in summer 2024 or in the academic year 2024-2025. If you are interested in working with me, you could take the course Introduction to Neurobiology and/or Animal Behavior.
You may be a good fit for the lab if: you are an undergrad or masters student fascinated by animal behavior, parental care, parent-offspring communication, hormonal and neural correlates of social behavior, simulations of social evolution, birds, or any interesting topic in social behavior. Depending on the project, students can expect to do a mixture of field work, watching videos of animal behavior, comparative studies, modeling, and lab work. I am happy to mentor a wide variety of projects.
If you're interested in joining the lab, please send me a brief email with your research interests, your goals for your time in the lab and your future (if you know yet!), any research / relevant course experience you have, and how approximately how much time you can commit to research during the semester. Feel free to attach your resume if you have one.
